Dog Waste Composter Step-By-Step

http://homepage.mac.com/cityfarmer/PhotoAlbum22.html

1. Use an old garbage bin.

2. Drill holes in the sides.

3. Use a keyhole saw to cut out the bottom.

4. Dig a hole in the ground for the bin.

5. Toss rocks into the hole for drainage.

6. When you place dog waste in the hole, add a septic starter and water.

7. The waste decomposes and enters the subsoil. It is not used on garden beds.

Dog Poo Soap

What the world needs now is some soap that looks like dog poop.

"Nope It's Soap" claims to have a coffee scent, and can be used as an exfoliator.

Got a kid with a dirty mouth? Tell him you're gonna wash his mouth out with this!

The manufacturer claims that each bar pile of soap is hand made, and unique, no molds, no mass production. Just like the real thing.

Date: 2007-11-23, 10:55PM MST

This is one of the kindest things I've ever experienced. I have no way to know who sent it, but there is a kind soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service. Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. ...
